Hello. I'm Georgie.

I am a fangirl!
Harry Potter. Doctor Who. Hunger Games. Supernatural. Teen Wolf. Sherlock. Merlin. Studio Ghibli. Nerdfighteria.

Three things I cannot live without:

music. books. tea. plus lots of other things: friends, family, languages... it's a long list.

I don’t know why

misscompris:

But my dash is really really dead. Reblog if you post:

Sherlock
Doctor Who
Benedict Cumberbatch
Martin Freeman
David Tennant
Matt Smith
Chris Eccleston
Misha Collins
Jensen Ackles
Jared Padalecki
Avengers
Tom Hiddleston
Chris Evans
Harry Potter
Funny stuff

I would put Supernatural (just the show not the actors themselves) as well but I have a lot of that on my dash already

“Sherlock’s idea of compliments “[You are] amazing! [You are] fantastic!” are exactly the same compliments John gives him when they first meet - as most people call him a freak, they’re probably the only compliments he’s ever received.

His idea of how to be nice to people is what he’s learned from John.” [x]

Asylum Waiting Room of the Big Three.

it’s funny because it looks like the sherlock fandom are sane here

Sherlock bustled about the kitchen, throwing a cupboard door open and pushing aside a box of nicotine patches to retrieve two mismatched mugs. A kettle whistled plaintively in the background, like it had been trying to draw attention to itself for a while now. Setting the mugs aside, Sherlock absently pulled the kettle off the stove, poured tea into the two mugs, and carried them into the living room.
Doctor Who was sprawled over the same chair it had collapsed into last night, when it had appeared at the door muttering inanely about lost regenerations and knackered navigations systems. It made a whining noise as Sherlock tucked the shock blanket it had thrown off in the night back around its shoulders.
Supernatural was in similar straits, curled up on the floor with a throw pillow and a tattered trench coat around its shoulders and alternating between sobbing and muttering about domesticity potential.
A thudding on the stairs indicated the ruckus had finally awoke Merlin, who poked its head into the room, hair sticking up at all angels as it tied its scarf around its neck. Blinking blearily at the mess, it seemed to realize what had occurred when it picked up a discarded bow-tie from the floor, holding it between forefinger and thumb, “Is it that time already?”
“It was bad this year,” Sherlock whispered, trying not to exacerbate the already fragile fandoms under its care.
“I remember what that was like,” Merlin muttered, running a hand through its hair and pulling a cape off the nearby coat rack, “I’ll go to the store. We’re out of milk again. May as well pick up some fish fingers, custard, and salt.”
Supernatural gurgled something quietly.
“No, I won’t forget the pie.”

this is perfect

One of the best mom moments in TV history. I wish more parents knew how important it is to validate their children’s feelings.

Not just parents, anybody. Let the people you love know it’s okay to be sad. It’s not a burden to vent to your friends/family/significant other.

  • Me: *Explaining about the Tenth Doctor regenerating*
  • Dad: No I don't approve
  • Dad: How can they do this to me?

  • Dad: I already love this Doctor and now he's going to die?
  • Dad: No
  • Dad: Tell the writers that your dad is upset about this
  • Me: There's still the Eleventh Doctor
  • Dad: Yeah but when I start loving him, they'll take him away from me too
  • Dad: They're taking everything I love

I don’t know where I am. I just know I’m running. Sometimes it’s like I’ve lived a thousand lives in a thousand places. I’m born. I live. I die. And always there’s the doctor. Always, I’m running to save the doctor again, and again, and again. And he hardly ever hears me, but I’ve always been there. Right from the very beginning. Right from the day he started running. Run you clever boy, and remember me.
